I am an equine behaviourist, Healer and Rider based in Derbyshire, close to Nottinghamshire, and South Yorkshire.

My aim is to create a calm, happy and enthusiastic horse who is submissive through trust and respect for his handler.
To achieve this I use a combination of methods, including groundwork, healing, Positive (Clicker) Training, lifestyle analysis taking into account the horses diet and their daily routine, and some good old Sherlock Holmes style detective work.
My methods involve sorting the problem from the ground, even a ridden problem - the problem isn't the behaviour that a horse displays, the problem is why a horse is displaying the undesired behaviour, and the answer to that lies in the horses head (having ruled out physical causes)... so that's the area I fix. I have found many times when I ride a horse for the first time having done the groundwork, the ridden problem ceases to exist.

...I have been told that my horses behave more like dogs than they do horses! I take this as a compliment, for who wouldn't want their horse to be loyal, obedient and willing to please?

Do you have a problem horse or pony?
Calm and natural methods to solve behavioural problems, using Whispering and Healing

Won't load, bolshy leader, problem with the farrier, aggressive, nervous, separation anxiety, won't stand still to be mounted, bucks, rears, bolts, naps, fear of clippers/umbrellas/plastic, hard to catch/tack up/rug...

Or maybe... you have a youngster that needs starting/breaking...
Or want to bombproof your horse or improve the bond with your horse...
